Police in Tampa Bay, Florida are working on a Minority Report-style police unit where they try to predict crime before it happens.
The idea is to implement a massive surveillance state, like in the movie, in order for a group of people to predict crime based on their intuition.
Some of the crimes are truly hilarious, such as tickets for missing house numbers and grass.
The idea behind writing such mundane tickets? They hope the perceived "future threat" will leave the area.
Just like in Minority Report, there is no way of being completely certain these people are a threat, but that doesn't stop this future crime department from labeling these people as targets anyways.
